This LS 2014 Elections ... will you, the voter, make a promise ?

“The AAP will make no promises to you. Instead it will ask you to make a promise. This time you will not cast your vote on the basis of kinship. You will forget caste; you will drive away the distributors of alcohol and money. AAP has not come to ask you for your vote. If there is anything we ask of you, it is to have faith in yourselves; and to listen to the voice of your soul. This election is not about the victory or defeat of political parties; it is about victory or defeat within ourselves. In front of the voting machine, we must think of the future of our children, the future of our city and our dreams for the future of our country.” Short link http://bit.ly/meera4mumbai

  1. Meeraji, I am amazed at your flexibility and continue to be a silent fan of yours. From the highest ivory towers of the corporate world, you have proved to be such a down to earth foot soldier going through the slums and chawls with so much ease without any airs or pretenses, genuinely listening to people and not just making tall speeches or false promises. I truly and sincerely hope you continue to have you feet on the ground all throughout life as you get political success. Wish to see you as India's finance minister one day but may god give you the strength to continue on the right path, unswayed by the adulation you may receive, the temptations laid in your path and the sycophants who may surround you! You will take away nothing from this world except 400 kg. of wood and your karma!
